For the second year in a row I will be participating in Brickton Art Center's regional juried show
focussing on contemporary methods of abstraction. If you're in the Chicago area, come by the show between September 2nd – October 19, 2013.
Bobby says artists don't eat cheese
This is Bobby Tirelli with "Shadow Brother," our in-progress collaborative painting.*
Bobby is part of Esperanza Community Services, a neighborhood organization dedicated to helping children and adults with development disabilities.
I've begun volunteering in the Esperanza art class on a weekly basis and can say that I've already learned more from the students than I could ever teach them.
More photos coming soon.

Rooms Trio at FSC
Rooms Trio, a Chicago-based experimental jazz trio, selected my work from the Fulton Street Collective artist's roster to complement their one night performance in the FSC performance space on June 20, 2013. I will be displaying the Wellspring piece from the Achroma series as a sequence of nine wall-mounted paintings.
Thanks to Matt Carroll and Emily Sides for this exhibition opportunity.
